Warframe Play Through

This is a play through for any Tenno to progress through Warframe. We are going to tell you what to do, when to do it, and where to do it.

Your First Warframe

Watch the intro movie, you will see the three starter frame choices. The movie will end with you needing to make a choice for your first frame. Chose any of the three offered warframes, they are all amazing and you will eventually need them all as you progress in the game. This is just your first starting selection, don’t worry about it, you can not get it wrong.

After you make your choice, a little cut scene will start you on the tutorial quest. After control is given back to you, hold here. Go to your menu OPTIONS to set some quality of life settings to get you off to a smooth start in Warframe. Adjust these to your comfort so that you can control yourself. You will adjust these settings many many more times in the future as you play the game and get a feel for how things work.

First quest - Vor’s Prize

You select the Skana for your Melee.
Follow the instructions and start to learn the button to actions.
You select the Lato for your Secondary.
You fight Vor a little bit.
You select the Braton for your Primary.
Finish the intro fight.

You will now see your first login reward. Then click ok for cross platform to proceed.

You will be given

10 Companion slots
4 Vehicle slots
4 Archwing Weapon slots
4 Necramech slots

Various other inbox goodies.

Most of your orbiter is not turned on right now, you need to play the game to continue the Vor’s Prize quest, to turn on everything in your orbiter.

General rule of thumb for the rest of the game:

Take your time in missions.

Check everywhere.

Kill everything.

Break open all containers.

Open all lockers.

Start playing the game.

Do the first mission “Restore ship comms”, Top right hand menu button.
Install the comms segment, so you can access can communications.
Do the mission “Liberate the imprisoned arms dealer”, Top right hand menu button.
Instal the mod segment. Then go to the ARSENAL and select your melee, click on UPGRADE, click the ACTIONS button on the bottom right hand menu, click Auto Install. Builds will come later.
Do the mission “Locate the Foundry Segment”, top right hand menu button.
Install the foundry segment. Now you need resources.
Do the mission “Raid the Corpus resource caches”, Top right hand menu button.
Do the mission for the nav coordinates, Top right hand menu button.
Do the mission “Confront Captian Vor”, Top right hand menu button.

At this point your Orbiter is generally put togeather and functional, the rest of the segments for other parts of the orbiter will come along as you continue to play the game.

Night Wave will come online with a log out, log back in cycle.

At this point you can and should join a clan. If your expected in the clan ahead of time, you might have an invite from Blades Of Korbin with a clan key blueprint waiting for you in your inbox, or you are being recruited to join Blades Of Korbin from recruiting chat, or you made a request to join Blades Of Korbin through the in game communication clan systems.

After you have your clan invite, you will need some resources to build the clan key to access the clan dojo. Building the clan key will take 12 hrs real time to build. You might receive an inbox message from Darvo, that message has needed resources that you can and should use for your clan key first, you will get more of these by just playing the game.

Clan Key Resources:

1 Morphics
500 Polymer Bundles
500 Ferrite
1,500 credits

Remember it will take 12 hrs plus the resources to build the key in your foundry before you can use it to access the clan dojo. When this is complete, claim your key and you can then enter the dojo.

You are now officially in a clan and ready to start on Earth.
